State level event will be held on 14th and 15th November at Science College grounds, Raipur.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, a state level grand program will be organized on Tribal Pride Day, the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, at the Science College grounds of Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, on 14 and 15 November.
In the two-day programme, tribal dance troupes from 17 states including Chhattisgarh will give captivating cultural presentations.
Dance groups are reaching Chhattisgarh to present their dance on Tribal Pride Day. Tribal dance troupes from Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Rajasthan and Sikkim have reached Raipur.
The dance troupe of Arunachal Pradesh will perform Adilok dance drama, the dance troupe of Uttarakhand will perform Jhinjhi, Holi, Hanna and Diya dance, the dance troupe of Telangana will perform Mathuri Tribal Dance, the dance troupe of Rajasthan will perform Valar Garasia Gair Dance and the dance troupe Subba of Sikkim will perform folk dance drama. .
It is noteworthy that on November 14 and 15, along with the presentation of cultural program by inter-state folk dance groups, a seminar will be organized on topics related to tribal pride and a display of paintings on tribal lifestyle will be held at the Science College grounds from 3 pm onwards.
