New Delhi. The administration of US President Donald Trump said on Friday that certain electronic goods would be exempted from mutual fees. It also includes smartphones, laptops and some other technical equipment. This decision can provide relief to the common consumers, as the possibility of increasing prices of all these goods has now reduced.
According to the Department of American Customs and Border Protection, many items are exempted from tariffs

This decision will benefit the general public, because everyday technical things like smartphones and laptops will not be expensive. Apart from this, big tech companies like Apple and Samsung will also get relief, as many of their products are not made in America and they import them from other countries.
These products are demanded in the US, but they are mostly produced in countries like China, Korea and Vietnam. If heavy tax was imposed on them, companies would have been damaged and customers would also get these things expensive. That is why the Trump government decided to give them exemption from tariffs.
