TV anchor refused to marry, lady managing director kidnapped…

A businesswoman has been arrested in Hyderabad for stalking and kidnapping a television anchor.

Bhogireddy Trisha, MD of five startup companies, has been accused of kidnapping television anchor Pranab Sistla.

According to the report, the female businessman did this because an unknown person defrauded her of Rs 40 lakh. She had used anchor Pranav’s picture in her profile on a marriage bureau site.

After this, a 31-year-old woman running a digital marketing company and her five associates were arrested by the Telangana Police on 22 February.

According to the police, the accused businessman had also installed an AirTag on the anchor’s car to trace his activities. Let us tell you that this is a GPS device, through which you can find out the live location.

The business woman came in contact with an unknown person named Chaitanya Reddy through Bharat Matrimony website two years ago. As the conversation progressed they started chatting on WhatsApp and Instagram.

After a few days, the person asked him to invest in his business, promising good returns. According to the police, the woman gave Rs 40 lakh to the man through UPI. After this the man started avoiding the woman.

When the female businessman realized that she was cheated, she contacted the phone number given on that profile. That number turned out to be anchor Pranav. He told them that some unknown person named Chaitanya Reddy used his photo and created fake accounts on Bharat Matrimony.

He also lodged a complaint in the cyber cell. After this, the female businessman started pressurizing Pranav for marriage. However he refused.

The woman’s phone number was blocked. The woman then planned to kidnap Pranav.

He also involved another person working in his office in this crime and offered him Rs 50,000.

He installed an Apple AirTag on the anchor’s car to keep an eye on his movements. Kidnapped by a woman on 11th February.

After this she took him to her office. The anchor was assaulted there. According to the police, Pranav promised the woman that he would answer her call and managed to escape from there.
