Kolkata . Incidents of rape of minor girls were reported in two districts of West Bengal on Saturday. The first incident is from Kumargram in Alipurduar district and the second is from Domkal in Murshidabad district. The victim in Kumaragram is a nine-year-old minor, who was allegedly abducted by the accused while swimming in the river. Later he raped her. The accused was an acquaintance of the victim. The victim was found lying in a deserted place. There was a lot of bleeding from his private parts. Based on the complaint of the victim’s parents, the police has arrested the accused person. The minor girl is undergoing treatment at Alipurduar District Hospital, and her condition is said to be critical. The accused will be presented in the court soon. In another incident, a middle-aged man was arrested for raping a seven-year-old minor girl in Domkol in Murshidabad district on Saturday. According to the complaint of the victim’s parents, the accused, who is a relative of the family, lured the minor with chocolate and took her to his room late at night and raped her. According to the complaint lodged by the police, initially the girl was in mental shock and did not tell anything to her parents. However, after persuasion, he finally told everything to his mother late on Friday night. The parents lodged a police complaint on Saturday after which the accused was arrested.
