On completion of two months of Pradhan Mantri Tribal Justice Mahabhiyan (PM Janman Yojana), Prime Minister Narendra Modi digitally transferred the amount for the first installment of PM Awas Yojana to 01 lakh beneficiaries of Special Backward Tribe Community (PVTG) category.

Similarly, he gave approval to road construction electrification project, clean tap water project, Van Dhan Vikas Kendras and other development works.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the PM Janman program virtually. He also interacted with the beneficiaries of special backward tribe community.

During this, he said that there is an atmosphere of celebration all around the country. The excitement of Uttarayan, Makar Sankranti, Pongal, Bihu festivals is everywhere.

Today’s event has made this enthusiasm even more spectacular. He said that on one hand Diwali is being celebrated in Ayodhya, on the other hand Diwali is being celebrated in the houses of one lakh extremely backward tribal class due to PM Janman Yojana. While congratulating the people benefited from the scheme, he said that this year’s You will celebrate Diwali in your new pucca houses.

Union Minister, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Giriraj Singh participated as the chief guest in the PM Janman program organized at Eklavya Adarsh ​​Residential School, Chhurikala in Korba district.

State Commerce, Industry and Labor Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, MLA Katghora Premchand Patel, Collector, Superintendent of Police, Divisional Forest Officer Korba Arvind PM, Katghora Forest Officer, Municipal Commissioner, Nodal Officer/District Co-ordinator PM Janman and local public representatives and officials were present in the program. .

Union Minister Giriraj Singh discussed with the beneficiaries benefited from the departmental schemes about the benefits they are getting from the schemes.

On this occasion, Union Minister Singh said that PM Janman Yojana is being run to provide the benefits of basic facilities from various government schemes to the people of special backward tribes across the country.

Due to which the light of development is reaching the special backward tribal class. He said that on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day on November 15, 2023, the birth anniversary of Lord Birsamunda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the PM Tribal Justice Mahabhiyan from Khunti, Jharkhand.

In the last two months, through the scheme, PVTGs have been successfully providing many basic facilities like housing, drinking water, education, health and roads in the settlements.

While explaining about Janman Yojana in the programme, Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan said that Jan means public welfare and Mann means the matter of one’s mind.

That is, the government has made up its mind to fulfill the wishes of the public. Under PM Janman Yojana, 100 percent people of special backward tribe category will get the benefits of various schemes.

Eligible beneficiaries of PM Janman Yojana are being benefited

Under PM Janman Yojana in Korba district, camps are being organized in special backward tribal settlements and they are being benefited from departmental schemes. Under which, Aadhar card of 4,554 people, Ayushman card of 3760 people, caste certificate of 1706 beneficiaries, Jan Dhan bank account of 748 people, 670 Kisan Credit card and 710 forest rights patta were provided. Besides, 879 people have been registered for the benefit of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi and construction of 298 pucca houses.

In whose accounts today the Prime Minister has transferred the amount of the first installment for housing construction.

In the program, the Chief Guest, Union Minister Singh and other guests, people of PVTG category were benefited under various government schemes.

Under which Ayushman card was given to Pahari Korwa Rattusingh Korwa and Binu Singh Korwa of Futamuda village, Aadhaar card was given to Neha, Phoolbai, Dashoda, Navya, Jai Vijay and Ratan Singh.

Under forest produce collection, a check of Rs 16,000 was given to Mrs. Lakshmi Marco for Kodo collection work and a check of Rs 7,500 was given to Siyaram for Mahul leaf collection work.

Under the Matsya Sampada Yojana, fishing nets were provided to Ramshankar Binjhwar and Atmaram Kenwat and ice boxes were provided to Shanti Bai and Ramkumari.

Forest rights pattas were granted to 378 people in the programme. Among these, the number of beneficiaries of PVTG category is 79. Besides, solar kit bulbs were provided to 50 people of PVTG category.

After the program, the guests viewed various government stalls and attractive models prepared by children in the school. A mobile medical unit under PM Janman was flagged off by Union Minister Giriraj Singh.

He gave the message of promoting social forestry and environmental protection by planting Char-Chironji sapling in the premises of Eklavya Residential School along with the Union Minister and other public representatives and officials.
