Unless there is solid evidence, no help in investigation, India bluntly tells Canada in terrorist Nijjar case…

Canada, which is expecting cooperation from India in the investigation of the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, has bluntly said that unless the Canadian government provides any concrete evidence in this matter, the Indian government will not provide any help to the Canadian investigators. Will do.

A report in Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail said that India’s High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma has set a condition that New Delhi will not help in the investigation until Ottawa shares all the evidence collected in the alleged murder. Could.

This statement from the Indian diplomat comes a few days after Canada’s National Security Advisor Jody Thomas claimed that the investigation into the Nijjar murder case has progressed rapidly and New Delhi is now cooperating in the investigation.

In an interview with The Globe and Mail, India’s High Commissioner to Canada Sanjay Kumar Verma said that Ottawa has not yet shown New Delhi any evidence that links the killing of Khalistani terrorist Nijjar. He said this was a pre-condition for helping in the investigation of the case.

“Unless we see something relevant and specific, it will be extremely difficult for us to help the Canadian authorities,” Verma said bluntly.

He said his office has not yet received a formal request from Ottawa to cooperate in the investigation.

Let us tell you that Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead in Vancouver on June 18 last year.

Three months after the murder, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shocked the world by making a statement in Parliament when he alleged that there were credible allegations of involvement of Indian agents in Nijjar’s murder.

India had strongly denied Canada’s allegations and had sought evidence in support of the allegations, but till date Canada has not been able to provide any evidence in support of the concrete allegations. After this episode, relations between the two countries continued to deteriorate.

Meanwhile, India has initiated a probe into information shared by the US about the alleged involvement of an Indian officer in a conspiracy to kill another Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Pannun.
