Nainital. An incident of landslide has been reported at the foot of the hill in Khupi village, located 8 km from Nainital. Last year, houses started collapsing after the land slid in Joshimath. Almost the same situation is now happening around Nainital.
6 houses of Khupi village in Nainital district are on the verge of complete collapse. Cracks have developed in the walls of 19 houses in this village. The biggest specialty of this village is that there are beautiful pine trees here. Tourists come from far and wide to see the terraced fields of the village and the beautiful view here. Now after the landslide incident in this village of Uttarakhand, panic has spread among the villagers. People are leaving their homes and looking for a safe place. Life here has become abnormal. The district administration has sent a team here. Which is conducting a survey. According to information received from sources, the district administration has made a treatment plan of Rs 15 crore. Which has been sent to the state government. The way mountains and land are collapsing due to landslides in various areas of Uttarakhand. It has created an atmosphere of fear among the people of Uttarakhand. The kind of development work is being done in Uttarakhand. Since then, natural disasters have been increasing here. Due to which a new concern is now being seen among the people here.
