Vice President addressed the enlightenment program of newly elected MLAs in the Assembly
Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar addressed the orientation program organized for the newly elected MLAs in Chhattisgarh Assembly.
He said that there should be constant contact and coordination between the MLAs of the party and the opposition, only then democracy will flourish and give positive results. You are not a rival in the House, there should be a cordial atmosphere there.
You people can work better in public interest by creating harmony. He said that the process of learning continues in life. The new MLAs in the House will also get to learn a lot from the old MLAs.
Giving information about the formation of the Constituent Assembly and the process of making the Constitution of India, the Vice President said that it is important for the members of the legislature to know the Constitution.
Changing laws according to public aspirations is the main function of the legislature.
Changes in prevailing laws happen not only in India but in all the countries of the world. He said that fundamental rights are very important in a democratic system. Democracy cannot function without this.

Addressing the MLAs, the Vice President said that no right comes without responsibility. You are accountable for every word you speak in the House.
You all will be a part of history. Your contribution will be further evaluated. Your concern, contemplation and brainstorming should be visible in the making of the new constitution.
He said that the biggest strength of the opposition lies in allowing the House to function. People do not like unnecessary disruption. He said that the House is governed by rules. All members have to follow these rules.

People want that their issues should be discussed in the House and public welfare decisions should be taken by the public representatives.
The Vice President said that criticism of the government by the opposition should be constructive and constructive. The opposition should look at public issues like a telescope and keep an eye on the work of the government like a microscope.
You people should see during the budget discussion that the state’s funds are utilized properly. He said that God’s mercy is immense on Chhattisgarh. It contains all the possibilities of development. He appealed to all the MLAs to take Chhattisgarh forward on the path of development.
While addressing the enlightenment programme, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that during the two-day enlightenment programme, our newly elected MLAs will get to know and understand about the parliamentary tradition and functioning.
This sixth assembly of ours is very energetic and young. 50 out of our 90 MLAs have been elected for the first time, this will be very useful for them.
This will also be an opportunity for revision for old MLAs. The Chief Minister said that it is hoped that we will all be successful in fulfilling the expectations with which the people of the state have elected us.
The last session of the first day of the enlightenment program was also addressed by Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahanta.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal, Speaker of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Satish Mahana, General Secretary of Rajya Sabha P.C. Modi and Chhattisgarh Assembly Secretary Dinesh Sharma were also present in today’s final session.
