Chief Justice Justice Ramesh Sinha of Chhattisgarh High Court joined virtually today on 18th February 2024 at 11:00 AM in his busiest time through video conferencing to lay the foundation stone of the new court building near bus stand Champa in Champa of Janjgir Champa district. to be done.
In the said program itself, in addition to the Civil Court building Champa, the foundation stone of the Civil Courts Akaltara, Navagarh, Sakti, Malkhauda, Dabhra, Jaijapur and the new employee residential complex Janjgir was laid.
Meanwhile, Port-Folio Judge of the district, Partha Pratim Sahu, was present at the venue and performed Bhoomi Pujan and laid the foundation stone of the buildings.
Sinha in his address said that work is being done in collaboration with the state government to provide infrastructure to the court and initiatives have also been started for this. He said that we have to provide a better working environment in the courts of the state.
This project is an important step towards providing court building and accommodation for the judicial officers/employees so that they do not have to face any kind of difficulties in getting the court building and accommodation.
He instructed the officers and engineers of the concerned department to complete this project with full quality and within the stipulated time frame.
He also asked the judicial officers and the District Magistrate to continuously monitor this project to ensure quality.
He said that a well-equipped residential colony for judicial employees in any district is encouraging and infuses new energy, which increases their work efficiency and the new colony in the district should be such that it proves to be an example for the state.
Justice Partha Pratim Sahu, Chhattisgarh High Court and Portfolio Judge Janjgir Champa, the special guest of the Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying program, addressed the judicial officers, district administration officers and police officers and court employees present on the occasion and the employees of the district administration and police administration present. While doing so, he also extended best wishes for the construction of court buildings and residential houses.
On this occasion, District and Sessions Judge Suresh Kumar Soni welcomed the Chief Justice and Portfolio Judge for gifting new court buildings and a residential colony with all facilities to Janjgir Champa district.
After the program, special guest Justice Partha Pratim Sahu laid the foundation stone by performing Bhoomi Pujan with full rituals. Rajendra Verma, Chief Justice of the Family Court along with other judges and employees of the Family Court and District Court were also present in the program of Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying ceremony of the residential colony for the proposed new Behavioral Court building and judicial employees. The vote of thanks in the program was given by Mrs. Pallavi Tiwari, Second Additional Sessions Judge, Janjgir.
All the administrative officers including Collector Sakti, Superintendent of Police, President of District Advocates Association Janjgir Ajay Kumar Kesharwani, President of Tehsil Advocates Association Champa Vijay Patel and officials, all the judicial officers of the district and all the employees of the District Court were present in the program.
It may be noted that it was challenging to get the Bhoomi Pujan done through video conferencing at a vacant place in Champa, a remote place from the district headquarters, but under the direction of the Portfolio Judge of the district, Honorable Justice Partha Pratim Sahu, District and Sessions Judge Suresh Kumar Soni, District Collector, India By continuously coordinating with Sanchar Nigam Limited and Public Works Department, the work of Bhoomi Pujan and inscription unveiling of the new office building and residential complex was successfully done in virtual mode.
