Was dreaming of becoming CM from PM, the tables were turned due to one arrest; How did Dabangg Party reach the abyss in 4 months?…

At present, BRS has moved to the third position, whereas in the assembly elections held on November 30, 2023, it was at the second position with 37.35 percent vote share and Congress had come to the first position with 39.40 percent vote share.

BJP had got only 13.90 percent votes in the assembly elections but ever since the arrest of KCR’s MLA daughter K Kavita in a money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor scam, the party’s popularity has seen a sharp decline.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, out of total 17 seats in the state, BRS (then TRS- Telangana Rashtra Samithi) won 9, while BJP won four and Congress three.

AIMIM Chief Owaisi had retained his Hyderabad seat by winning, but after five years i.e. in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the electoral mathematics and equations have been turned upside down.

At present, more than half of the BJP candidates in Telangana are from BRS and most of them have switched sides this month.

Let us tell you that on March 15 this month, ED has arrested K Kavita, daughter of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Before the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the state on May 13, BRS leaders have not just joined BJP.

Many have also joined hands with Congress. The biggest name among these is that of BRS’s Chevella MP Ranjit Reddy, whom Congress has again made its candidate from the same Lok Sabha seat.

Similarly, BRS MLA from Khairatabad assembly seat of Hyderabad, Danam Nagender, has also switched parties and become the Lok Sabha candidate of Congress.

The party has fielded him against Union Minister G Kishan Reddy from Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat. Not only this, former president of Vikarabad Zilla Parishad and former BRS leader Sunita Mahendra Reddy is now contesting elections from Malkajgiri on Congress ticket.

BRS’s Peddapalli MP Venkatesh Neta has crossed over to the Congress and is awaiting a formal announcement of his candidature. Warangal’s BRS MP Pasunuri Dayakar has also left the party after being denied Lok Sabha ticket.

Let us tell you that for a few months of 2022 and 2023, Chandrashekhar Rao was busy in the campaign to unite the opposition parties and promote himself from CM to PM. With this intention, he made his party Telangana Rashtra Samithi Bharat Rashtra Samithi so that the effort to give it a national character and status could bear fruits.

Apart from this, he had also tried to form a third front with non-BJP and non-Congress Chief Ministers and had made continuous sharp attacks on Prime Minister Modi but all was in vain.
