Hyderabad. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said that there is a need to restore the forgotten glory of the country. He emphasized on the upliftment of Indian culture. He was addressing the program Lokmanthan-2024 organized by nationalist thinkers here.
Reason and intelligence in India’s perspective
During this, Bhagwat gave the example of emphasis on ethics in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by scientists. He said that India’s value system emphasizes on the intelligence of the individual. There is logic and intelligence in India’s approach towards issues and the country does not need to follow other approaches to solve problems.
Sanatan religion and culture will have to be given a contemporary form
He said that India can take good things from abroad but it should have its own nature. He said that we have to think about giving a contemporary form to our Sanatan religion and culture. He said that India does not need to respond to external criticisms, as it has already succeeded in both practical and philosophical fields. The world has seen.
The world is looking towards India
Bhagwat further said that various global ideologies have faltered and are now looking towards India for guidance. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, citing examples from the scriptures, said that there has been no discrimination against the forest dwellers. Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy also expressed their views during this period.
