Canada is continuously lying about the murder of pro-Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
First, without providing any evidence, he accused India of getting Nijjar murdered.
After this, when the Indian investigative agency NIA recently asked for his death certificate from Canada, it also refused to give it.
Let us tell you that Hardeep Singh Nijjar was a Canadian citizen of Indian origin. He was assassinated in June. Nijjar was charged in nine cases being investigated by the NIA in India.
The NIA had demanded Nijjar’s death certificate from Canada so that the court could be informed about this in the cases pending against him in the Indian courts.
NIA sources say that Canadian officials raised some questions on the demand made by India.
Canada asked why India should have the right to ask for the death certificate of its citizen. “They then refused to share Nijjar’s death certificate,” an official said.
Nijjar’s murder sparked a diplomatic row between India and Canada. Canada alleged involvement of Indian agencies. India immediately rejected this and demanded evidence from Canada.
The controversy escalated recently when Canada accused senior Indian diplomats of taking an interest in the Nijjar murder investigation. India recalled those diplomats.
Let us tell you that NIA has not yet succeeded in getting Interpol red-corner notice against another pro-Khalistan terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu (American citizen).
The NIA is investigating six Khalistan terror cases against Pannu and has so far attached three of her properties in Chandigarh, Amritsar and Pathankot as terrorism proceeds.
Interestingly, an attempt was made on Pannu’s life in New York in June 2023. The US claimed the involvement of an Indian official.
Last week an unsealed charge sheet revealed that the US has filed charges against Vikash Yadav. Yadav is said to be a former officer of India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
