The Gwadar port being built in Pakistan’s Balochistan province was attacked on Wednesday.
In this attack, two Pakistani Army soldiers were killed and 8 attackers were also killed in retaliation. Majeed Brigade of Balochistan Liberation Army has taken responsibility for this attack.
The formation of this brigade also has an interesting history. It was formed by the Baloch Liberation Army in 2011.
It was formed in the name of a guard of former PM Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who was killed while trying to attack him. According to Pakistani experts, this organization also has a presence in Afghanistan.
Not only this, Pakistan alleges that this organization has even established its bases on the border of Pakistan and Iran. These people have also been getting entry into the border Baloch areas of Iran. These areas also have the influence of Baloch culture and a large number of Baloch are settled there.
Actually, Majeed Brigade is considered to be the suicide squad of Baloch Liberation Army. On this behalf, attacks have been carried out especially on those targets in Pakistan, in the construction of which China has been involved.
Earlier in April 2022, the same organization had attacked the Confucius Institute of Karachi University. This was also a suicide attack.
The same guerrilla organization had carried out several attacks in Balochistan, Pakistan in 2022. A large number of people were killed in these attacks. In 2022 itself, Majeed Brigade had carried out attacks in Naushki and Panjgur districts.
During this, Pakistani security forces took up arms and more than 20 terrorists were killed. Apart from this, 9 soldiers of Pak security forces were also killed.
