Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Saturday suspended Danish Ali, Lok Sabha MP from Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, from the party.
He has been accused of being involved in anti-party activities. Danish Ali came to BSP from JDS and became MP for the first time in the last Lok Sabha elections.
After this, BSP supremo Mayawati gave him a big responsibility and even made him the leader of BSP in the Lok Sabha. Party General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra gave information about Danish Ali’s suspension from BSP through a letter.
He said that you were verbally told many times not to make any statement or work against the policies, ideology and discipline of the party, but even after this you have been making statements against the party. After this allegation, Ali was expelled from BSP.
This is being considered a big action of Mayawati before the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year. In the last Lok Sabha elections, Mayawati’s BSP and SP had contested together, the effect of which was visible and BSP won ten seats including Amroha.
Was closeness with Rahul Gandhi and Congress the reason for suspension?
Danish Ali is a BSP MP from Amroha seat in Uttar Pradesh. BSP MPs had recently come into limelight when Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ramesh Bidhuri had used an allegedly objectionable word against Bahujan Samaj Party MP Danish Ali in the Lok Sabha on September 21.
While participating in the discussion on ‘Chandrayaan-3’s success and India’s achievements in the space sector, Bidhuri had made some such remarks against Ali, on which the opposition members started an uproar.
Danish Ali had said that the BJP member should apologize for his comments. After this incident, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met BSP MP Danish Ali and since then the market of rumors became hot.
Rahul Gandhi had met Danish Ali along with Congress MP Imran Pratapgarhi, party general secretary KC Venugopal. After this, there was speculation whether Danish Ali was moving away from BSP and coming closer to the SP-Congress ‘India’ alliance? Apart from Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, UP Congress Chief Ajay Rai also met Danish Ali.
Congress-SP or somewhere else? In which will Danish Ali go?
After being suspended from BSP, questions are being raised about Amroha MP Danish Ali as to where will be his next destination? Danish Ali has good relations with Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders. Apart from this, Danish Ali also has good relations with SP chief Akhilesh Yadav.
Both the parties are members of the ‘India’ alliance formed with the aim of defeating BJP in the next Lok Sabha elections. It is being said that Akhilesh Yadav and Congress can contest elections together in UP.
If this happens then Danish Ali can join any of the two parties and become a joint candidate. Apart from this, if we look at the past politics of Congress, many old leaders have again joined the party with the aim of strengthening the party in Uttar Pradesh.
Imran Masood, who was once in Congress, has joined Congress again through SP and then BSP. According to sources, Danish Ali may also join Congress in future.
Apart from various other castes in Uttar Pradesh, Congress is also eyeing minority votes. If Danish Ali joins Congress after Imran Masood, then Congress may get some benefit not only in Uttar Pradesh but across the country.
