According to the Metropolitan Police, a 44-year-old man threatened passengers with an acid attack on a bus traveling between Brixton and Croydon.
The incident happened on Sunday night, when he boarded the bus. He was smoking after boarding the bus. The situation changed when the passengers protested against it. It is being told that the accused was drunk.

In this case, Metropolitan Police officials said that we got information about the incident after 10.30 in the night. We immediately became active and left for the spot along with the police force along with the ambulance.
Many videos of this incident have also surfaced on social media, in which police with weapons have surrounded the bus and appealed to the people to stay away from it. It took about three hours for the police to settle the entire matter.
After much effort, the police arrested the 44-year-old accused by tying him to a stretcher. The accused was not conscious after consuming intoxicating pills.
The police have not been able to find out the motive behind this action of the accused. Police said that the chemical substance recovered from the accused, which he was threatening by calling it acid, was also tested; in fact, after testing, it was found to be not harmful.
