A meeting was held between the Quad countries in America on Saturday.
The heads of states of India, Australia, America and Japan participated in it. Representatives of all four countries advocated reform in the UNSC.
All the countries expressed commitment to work together for maritime security and against terrorism. Also, North Korea was described as a serious threat to the world.
During the meeting, when the four heads of state were talking to the media, a journalist asked whether the Quad will remain even after the elections? In response to this question, US President Joe Biden put his hand on PM Narendra Modi’s back and replied that yes, much beyond November.
When US President Joe Biden was asked if the Quad will continue in the future, the US President pointed towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and patted his back and said – it will definitely continue. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, after the US request to host the Quad summit this year, India has agreed to host the next Quad summit in 2025.
When the four heads of state were in front of the media, Biden (the current host of the Quad Summit) was asked if the Quad will continue even after the elections in November? Biden said yes, pointing towards PM Modi.
PM Modi and Biden meeting
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met US President Joe Biden, who described the India-US partnership as stronger, closer and more dynamic than at any time in history.
The two leaders met here on the sidelines of the Quad summit to review and identify new ways to further deepen the India-US comprehensive global strategic partnership.
“A special start to an important visit. President Joe Biden extends a warm welcome to PM Narendra Modi at his residence in Greenville, Delaware,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a post on X.
Biden welcomed Modi at his residence in Wilmington, Delaware and the two leaders hugged each other. After this, Biden held Modi’s hand and took him inside his house.

“The US partnership with India is stronger, closer, and more dynamic than at any time in history. Every time we sit down with Prime Minister Modi, I am deeply pleased with our ability to find new areas of cooperation. Today was no different,” Biden said on ‘X’.
