AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi strongly targeted this on Sunday. He said, ‘I want to ask Mohan Bhagwat, what will he give to those who produce more children? Will he give Rs 1500 in the bank accounts of those having more children? Will he bring any plan for this? Will any scheme like ‘Produce children’ be introduced?
Owaisi taunted and said that Rs 1500 is given every month under Ladli Brahmin Yojana, then Mohan Bhagwat should also make such an announcement. You come up with a scheme and decide how much amount will be given for how many children are born.
Asaduddin Owaisi said, ‘When Mohan Bhagwat is trying to make someone close to him the Chief Minister, then he should come up with a plan for this.’
He said that the TFR rate of every community has fallen. According to religion, the TFR rate of Muslims has fallen the most. Owaisi also said that I have 6 children.

He said that India’s Total Fertility Rate (TFR) should be at least 3 instead of the current 2.1. TFR refers to the average number of children a woman gives birth to.

Mohan Bhagwat cautioned that according to population science, if the total fertility rate of a society goes below 2.1, it may reach the verge of extinction.
He said, ‘Population decline is a matter of serious concern. Demographic studies show that when a society’s total fertility rate falls below 2.1, it is at risk of extinction.
This decline does not necessarily have to be due to external threats; A society can gradually become extinct on its own.
Bhagwat said that many languages and cultures have already become extinct due to this issue. Therefore it is necessary to maintain the fertility rate above 2.1. Family is an integral part of the society and every family has importance in the formation of the society.
