Cold has arrived in many states across the country, a gradual decline in temperature is being seen in North India. Along with this the cold is also increasing. According to the Meteorological Department, in the next five days, there may be a drop of two to three degrees in the minimum temperature in North-West, Eastern, Western and Central India.
If we talk about Delhi, then there is light fog and smog along with mild cold in the morning and evening. But mild heat can still be felt during the day. According to the Meteorological Department, the cold is likely to increase in Delhi after November 25.

According to the Meteorological Department, the sky is expected to remain clear in some areas of North India from November 16 to November 17, while light to moderately dense fog may be seen in some areas. After this, a drop in temperature may be seen on 18th November.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of fog in the plains of Himachal Pradesh today. Also, fog may remain in the central hilly areas. At the same time, there may be light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly areas.
Yellow alert of dense fog in UP today
Dense to very dense fog is likely to prevail in some areas of Punjab, Haryana, Bihar during night/morning hours till the morning of 17th. If we talk about the weather of UP, then there will be minimum drop in temperature in UP today. According to the Meteorological Department, today a yellow alert has been issued for dense fog in many districts of Western UP and Terai areas of Eastern UP during late night or early morning. A drop in minimum temperature may also be recorded in the next 24 hours. In many districts the night temperature has dropped to 15 degrees.
There is a possibility of dense to very dense fog in some areas of Bihar during night/morning hours till the morning of 17th November and dense fog till the morning of 18th November. Heavy rain was recorded at isolated places in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Unseasonal heat continues in Mumbai and suburban areas of Maharashtra. No drop in temperature was observed in the last 24 hours and this trend is likely to continue into the next day.
State’s lowest temperature in Pune
The current weather is being shaped by the ongoing La Nina phenomenon combined with recent cyclonic changes over the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, the state will be hotter during the day and colder at nights. Last night, at 15°C, Pune recorded the state’s lowest minimum temperature, indicating cooler days to come.
