A woman got locked in the toilet of her house. Despite much effort she could not get out.
Seven hours had passed since he was locked in the toilet. She kept shouting continuously but no one heard her voice. There was no window in the toilet, so he had to try to get out himself.
He did not have much material but he did not lose courage and made the almost impossible task possible.
She was able to unlock the toilet with the help of cotton and eye liner. This feat of the woman is being praised across the city.
This incident happened with Dr. Christina Ilko, a lecturer at Cambridge University, London, in her flat. According to BBC report, she got locked in her toilet last Thursday.
When she could not get out even after a lot of efforts, she exercised patience and with the help of some common household items, managed to get out of the toilet after being stuck for seven hours.
Trapped with no windows and thick walls, Ilco was unable to be heard by anyone, according to the news outlet. Ilko had to wait a long time and work hard to get out of the bathroom.
She lived alone in the flat and no cleaning staff was going to come to her house for the next four days. Therefore, he had a difficult and important task – to get out of the toilet at any cost.
He created a makeshift lockpick using an eyeliner pen and a cotton ball. After trying continuously for seven hours, she managed to open the lock and free herself from the toilet. He has shared the incident that happened to him on X.
Wrote, “The plumber broke the toilet lock and forgot to tell me. I went inside and got locked. The door is made of solid wood and I knew that the door would not break. I was stuck for 7 hours. “I ended up making a makeshift key with eyeliner and an ear bug.”
Dr Ilko told BBC News: “What was going on in my mind at that time was how long a person can survive on water alone and I was just hoping that I wouldn’t die.
If people come looking for me, will they check the restroom, or will I have to wait for four days.
