Regarding the pager attack on Hezbollah, Israel has publicly stated for the first time that the attack was approved by the Prime Minister’s Office.
On Sunday, the Israeli Prime Minister openly admitted that he had approved the pager attack on Hezbollah in September, which left hundreds of pagers and walkie-talkies exploding across Lebanon.
More than 40 fighters and associates of Hezbollah lost their lives in this attack, while more than 3 thousand people were injured.
After the blasts in communication equipment in September, Hezbollah had blamed Israel for this attack, but Israel had then refused to say anything on this attack.
The attack was devastating for Iran-backed Hezbollah as pagers were its main means of communication.
In such a situation, when pagers started exploding, there was complete chaos. Hezbollah had vowed to take revenge from Israel for this.
Netanyahu spokesman Omar Dostri, speaking to news agency AFP about the attacks, said that Prime Minister Netanyahu confirmed on Sunday that he had given the green signal to the pager operation in Lebanon.
After the attack on Israel by Hamas on October 7 last year, when Israel retaliated, Hezbollah from Lebanon continuously attacked Israel through rockets and drones.
In response, Israel resorted to a pager attack, which destroyed Hezbollah’s entire communication system. Keeping in mind the Israeli technology, Hezbollah already used pagers and walkie-talkies instead of using mobile phones and modern equipment.
After these blasts, Hezbollah became more weak, the result was that with the help of his intelligence, Netanyahu ordered the killing of the Hezbollah Chief right after his speech in the United Nations General Assembly.
The Israeli army, which was already ready, killed Chief Nasrallah in a single attack.
