Bengaluru. In Bengaluru, a young man had to pay the price with his life for accepting a risky challenge. The incident took place at Weavers Colony under Konanakunte police station on Diwali night. Here, drunken youths who were bursting crackers placed a box on top of the firecrackers and challenged Shabarish to sit on that box. Shabarish was also drunk and said that if he remained sitting on the compartment till the crackers burst then he should be given an auto rickshaw. On this his friends agreed and Shabarish accepted the challenge. After this, his friends set fire to a firecracker and made Shabrish sit on the compartment. Shabarish’s private parts were badly burnt due to the burst of firecracker. Shabarish was immediately admitted to Victoria Hospital, but he died on 2 November.
Police arrested 6 people
Police have arrested 6 people in the case. DCP Bengaluru South Division Lokesh B Jaglasar said that the accused Naveen, Dinkar, Satyavelu, Karthik, Satish and Santosh have been arrested. In this case, a youth named Shabarish was seriously injured while bursting firecrackers. This incident was captured in CCTV. After the incident, Shabarish was admitted to the hospital for treatment, where he died.
